Right on the eve of Hereos return, Kristin over at e!Online delivers the goods. Her latest blog entry centers mostly around Claire, Niki, and Mohinder after cornering several cast members at the InStyle Heroes party.

Here at Deveaux we don’t beat around the bush so lets get down to the goods:

CLAIRE’S HERITAGE:

• According to Adrian Pasdar, Peter and Claire are NOT brother and sister. While Kristin doesn’t say exactly what Adrian did tell her, there seems to be some definate inuendo about the two being related - possibly cousins or maybe half-siblings. [ed: I’m thinking Peter is more like Uncle Peter, but that’s sheer speculation on my part]
• Jack Coleman hints that Claire came into HRG’s possesion due to the fact that her bio-mom’s power made her unsafe to be around “she has a power that can be dangerous to her… Her power created the situation in which Claire came to be my daughter”. Most of us in the know already know that Claire’s bio-mom is some form of firestarter which in turn lends some credence to a theory I read over at 9th Wonders about Claire’s regenerating ability being linked to a survival need to survive around her mother. It also adds a sense of foreshadowing to the walking through fire bit she did in Chapter One.

NIKI THE JAILBIRD:

• Ali Larter says that Niki and Jessica will battle it out for who’s the dominant person inhabiting her body while in prison. Which one has control when she gets out? She doesn’t say. Jeph Loeb adds that there are some interesting circumstances as to exactly how Niki/Jessica gets out of Jail.
• Niki/Jessica will have a run in with Matt. Which gets quite interesting concidering Matt’s mind reading ability and how screwed in the head Niki seems to be - can’t wait to see how that one goes down, hopefully better than the Peter / Matt thing with the feedback (neat but too short lived). Anyways, it seems Jessica is control and she gives Matt a good ass whoopin leaving a lot of bruising.
• Niki will meet up with Nathan again around Chapter Fifteen “there is something that bonds us together, and it’s shiny, it’s fast, and it’s deadly” says Pasdar.

THAT CRAZY LIST:

• There are approximately thirty-six people on the list says Ramamurthy (Mohinder) but it’s just a list of names and cities.
• Mohinder is on a quest to find them, warn them, and tell them their powers can be useful.
• In the course of the next three episodes Mohinder manages to contact most of them.
• Mohinder’s gained some gohonies this time around.

ROMEO AND JULIETTE - ERR, ISAAC AND SIMONE:

• Simone is starting to come around and have more faith in whats going on.
• We will get to see more Isaac art but the focus is on the bomb.

SPEAKING OF EXPLOSIONS:

• Ted’s back in a huge way according Greg Grunberg (Matt) and the two will be working together to figure things out.
• Ted’s literally ready to explode at any time.
