Descriptions for Chapters 19 and 20

The folks over at HeroSite (pays to have contacts in the industry) scored the descriptions for Chapter Nineteen “.07 Percent” and Chapter Twenty “String Theory”. Without further ado here they are:

CHAPTER NINETEEN “.07 PERCENT”

“SERIAL KILLER SYLAR’S RAMPAGE CONTINUES — MALCOLM MCDOWELL AND ERIC ROBERTS GUEST STAR — After “helping” Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) search for more people with special abilities, Sylar’s (guest star Zachary Quinto) rampage continues with two “heroes” being confronted by the stronger-powered serial killer. Nathan (Adrian Pasdar) must factor what he’s learned from Linderman (guest star Malcolm McDowell) into difficult decisions that will shape the future — for him, his family, New York City and the world. As Thompson (guest star Eric Roberts) uses every tool at his disposal to find Claire (Hayden Panettiere), Linderman drafts Jessica (Ali Larter) into his far-reaching plans. Meanwhile, Hiro’s (Golden Globe nominee Masi Oka) resolve to “save the world” strengthens in the face of a grim reality. Santiago Cabrera, Noah Gray-Cabey, Jack Coleman, Greg Grunberg, and Milo Ventimiglia also star. James Kyson Lee, Missy Peregrym and Cristine Rose also guest star.”

CHAPTER TWENTY “STRING THEORY”

HAVING STOLEN THE SWORD AND TELEPORTED FIVE YEARS INTO THE FUTURE, HIRO AND ANDO BEAR WITNESS TO A GRIM, HARROWING FUTURE FOR THE “HEROES”– Thrown five years in the future, Hiro (Golden Globe nominee Masi Oka) and Ando (James Kyson Lee) discover that people with extraordinary abilities are not only widely known about — after the destruction of New York City and the deaths of millions — but are being registered, imprisoned, hunted and even killed as “terrorists.” As the President takes his first step towards a “final solution,” the pair get swept up in what could be the “Heroes” final battle and encounter a range of new and darkly familiar faces. If they survive the experience, can they still get back to the present and save the world? Santiago Cabrera, Jack Coleman, Noah Gray-Cabey, Greg Grunberg, Ali Larter, Hayden Panettiere, Adrian Pasdar, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Leonard Roberts and Milo Ventimiglia also star. Stana Katic, Jimmy Jean-Louis and Zachary Quinto guest star.

Greg Grunberg Spills a Little to TV Guide

In an interview with TV Guide, Greg Grunberg (Matt Parkman) reveals a small bit of whats to come. Doesn’t look like he, Ted, and HRG are gonna remain in custody at The Company for very long. HRG breaks them out and they go on a mission together:

With the help of Mr. Bennet/HRG, we’re all going to break out. It’s a really exciting episode and it sets us on this mission to stop Sylar and find the tracking system, because without the tracking system they can’t get to Claire, and they can’t get to me. The key to the whole thing is getting that computer and wiping it out.

Sounds like they’re gonna need Hana’s help :-D

He also confirms what we’ve pretty much heard from various other sources about the season finale and everyone coming together:

We all come together and we have a mission, all for various reasons, and we don’t necessarily work as a “Super Friends” team, but we’re all at the same place at the same time with the same mission, and it’s just awesome. Like I worked with Adrian [Pasdar] the other day and I worked with Sendhil, people you never see me interact with ever on the show, so it’s really fun. The dynamic is exciting when we get to work together.

And lastly he further confirms that Clea DuVall (FBI Agent Audrey Hanson) will be back for the last two episodes of the season and perhaps even season two.

Audrey (played by Clea DuVall) returns in the last couple of episodes of the season, and hopefully will carry into next season.

Linderman’s Cards Revealed?

With barely four weeks left (and crawling) before season one of Heroes concludes, those in the know are holding on to what spoilers are left. Ausiello threw us another small but clever bone to chew on when a reader by the name of Dan asked him about Linderman’s powers. He had the following to say:

You know what show I miss, Dan? Carnivale. That Ben Hawkins was one fascinating dude. Oh, the things he could do with his mind…

Keep in mind I don’t have cable so I’ve never watched a single episode of Carnivale so I decided to do a little Googling. For those unfamiliar with the show Ben Hawkins has the Christ like ability to heal people.

Now I’ve been known to take spoilers and try to deduce logical theories as to what is to come without getting to crazy - so here goes. For anyone who has been following the Heroes web comics, the current story arc is focusing on a file HRG asked Hana to find. It’s contents could bring down The Company. The file was on paper and at The Pentagon so she had to do a little dirty work to sneak in and gain access (old fashioned espionage). The file tells the story of a secret rescue mission in Vietnam to find a downed plane that was itself on a secret mission. The rescue team is so secret that they only know each other’s code names and specialties. Before they could find the plane, the team was ambushed and only Dallas (the author of the report on file) and Austin (the medical specialist who turns out can heal people by laying hands).

It’s pretty obvious now that Austin is indeed Linderman. So how can that bring down The Company? Simple, Linderman heads The Company. In a previous web comic (#22 The Path of the Righteous) Hana separates from Matt and Ted to track down the person in charge of The Company. She tracks a wireless trail that leads her to - Las Vegas. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out (even at that point) who she managed to track down - Linderman.

Small Season Two Tidbit

When someone asked about whether or not we’d learn Mohinder’s supposedly deceased sister Shanti, Kristin had this to say:

Look for lots more Heroic relatives (like Shanti) and family history next season, because I’m told the second season is called Volume Two: Generations, and it’s all about the ancestors and descendants of the Heroes we know and love.

How come I get the feeling we’re gonna be bouncing all over time with Hiro in season two (there was another spoiler about Hiro being in another century during most of the season).

Chapter 22 Spoilers and a New Promo for Chapter 19

When asked about what future role the Petrelli family has in the upcoming episodes Kristin had this juicy tidbit to pass on from Adrian Pasdar:

Who wants my thoughts when you could have Adrian Pasdar’s thoughts?! He says about Angela Petrelli (Cristine Rose), “She has a big part to play in my life and Peter’s life and Claire’s life…And [the question of] how [my father] died is something that gets answered in 22. It wasn’t Sylar, but it’s not what we were told. He turns out to be somebody we don’t expect.” Ahhh! Why does every little snippet about this show get me so excited? (Especially when Adrian is talking?)

Yahoo TV has a new version of the promo for Chapter 19. It starts off a bit like the one shown at the end of Chapter 18 but has some different footage after the “now it’s time to save the world” part. Some highlights including seeing who the brunette version of Claire is talking to (those who guessed HRG were right on), a bit with Mohinder mentioning something about genocide to Nathan, and Linderman asking Micah if he’d like to save the world (anyone else thinking he’s gonna try and get Micah to rig Nathan’s election - can we say LANDSLIDE?). Titles for the Last Two Chapters

And the folks over at Sci-Fi Wire get the scoopage on the titles for the final two episodes of Heroes Season One:

  • Chapter Twenty-Two “Landslide”
  • Chapter Twenty-Three “How to Stop an Exploding Man”

Included with the titles is a little bit of spoilage from the man Kring himself “The whole thing converges in New York, … and they’re all there, and all of them play a role,” Kring said in an interview at Wizard World in Los Angeles on March 17. “Even though some may feel like they’re less significant to the final event, when you analyze it, each one had to play that role in order for the final event to be solved, and so there really was a kind of destiny quality to them coming together and having each one fulfilling one thing and one specific role.”

Titles for Chapter Twenty and Twenty-One

HeroSite source Mr.Video has revealed that the titles for episodes 20 and 21 are:

  • Chapter Twenty “String Theory”
  • Chapter Twenty-One “The Hard Part”

Also the story I’m hearing is that both episode 20 and 21 take place in the future. This makes sense with the pictures of Isaac about to become a new addition to Sylar’s brain collection in episode 19 (as seen in the NBC spoiler pictures) and the spoilers that Kristin released stating that the next major Hero death is in episode 22. This seems to indicate that Isaac’s death will be a cliffhanger at the end of episode 19.

Leaving Recovery Mode

Alright, finally got time to get all the spoilers on the spoiler pages up to date - was pretty far behind. The server, as you can probably tell, is back up and fully functional including all pages here and email. Between recovering email and catching up on some after hours side work I just had no time.

I’ve updated a lot of the images and basically gotten things in place for April 23 (which just isn’t getting here quick enough). I’ve also taken the opportunity to clean up some of the pages that’s been neglected in general.
There’s been some pretty good spoilers to come down the pike the last couple weeks. And while I’ve had brief moments to read them all, I just haven’t had time to post anything up.

CHAPTER 19 “.07 PERCENT” - There still seems to be some great spoilers floating about for this episode. It started with McDowell spilling the title and that Linderman may have powers of his own. An early peek at a scene between Linderman and Nathan shown at the Paley Festival in Hollywood where he shows Nathan around his gallery of prophetic paintings. And ending (so far) with a great collection of spoilerific pictures at NBC.com - including Sylar getting ready to do Isaac in (this is probably a cliffhanger ending as Kristin alludes to the next major death happening in episode 22). It looks like Peter and Sylar’s battle will end will end with Sylar getting thrown out a window and Peter dying (although not permanently) as a result a shard of said glass getting lodged in his skull.

On another note, you may remember a while back I said that we were working on some new stuff and features. Well, one of the features it appears that NBC has beaten us to the punch on (except a bit more elaborate). What we were looking at doing was having a section of the forums set aside where our readers could submit theories to be voted upon by other readers. Then, the top theories would be posted weekly on the front-page. If this sounds appealing then by all means drop into the forum and post about it.

Chapter 18 - Parasite - MAJOR Spoilers

Damn Canadians - they get to see Heroes a day earlier than we do. However, some are nice enough to share what they’ve learned with the rest of us who have to wait till tonight. I’d like to thank Ford Prefect over at Heroes the Series for doing just that two weeks in a row.

So if you’re ready, keep reading because the major revelations are posted below:

  • Nathan has been working with the FBI since his wife’s accident - Peter learns this.
  • Mohinder is not as clueless as we thought - he knows Zane is really Sylar and tricks him into drinking tea which sedates him.
  • The new hero, Candice Wilmer is a shapeshifter of some sort (although I believe she just makes people think she’s someone else) and is an “uber-bitch” (to quote Ford Prefect).
  • Claire’s new identity is Vivian. She tells The Haitian that Peter is the only one she can trust and ditches him at the airport.
  • Mohinder has Sylar sedated and tortures Sylar until he confesses to killing his father.
  • Simone is DEAD (in case anyone still needed clarification on that), Candice uses her power to make Isaac think she’s Simone.
  • Nathan helps Hiro get past security at the casino.
  • Niki is able to escape the mirror much like Jessica was and has been leaving clues to DL.
  • Mohinder tries to shoot Sylar but Sylar stopped the bullets and the IV - apparently turning the tables back on Mohinder.
  • Ando comes back (YEA!) and rescues Hiro while he’s stealing the sword.
  • Linderman was on to the the FBI’s plan and has Jessica kill them.
  • Niki manages to take control long enough to warn Nathan about Linderman knowing.
  • Hiro and Ando try to teleport out of the casino but end up five years in the future on top of the Deveaux building - the bomb has apparently not been stopped and everrything is all post-apocalyptic looking. Hiro is upset he didn’t prevent it.
  • Bennet talks to his wife but in reality it’s Candice using her power on him. Apparently Thompson is on to the farce about Claire and The Haitian.
  • The “higher-power” that The Haitian reports to is (as a lot of people guessed) Angela Petrelli (Nate and Pete’s crazy mother). She’s waiting for Claire at Peter’s apartment when she arrives. Apparently she knew all about Claire and has been trying to protect her.
  • Linderman knows about all of the heroes in general, including that Nathan can fly, Peter can sponge, and Claire can heal…
  • Peter goes to Mohinder’s apartment where he finds Mohinder on the ceiling and dripping in blood. Mohinder is still alive and utters a warning to Peter that Sylar is there but not soon enough.
  • Peter is slammed against the wall “I remember you, you’re like me. I want to see how that works.” He proceeds to do his trademark tk-knife on Peter. We see a line of blood on Peter’s forehead then a lock of hair drop to the floor… CLIFFHANGER here…

Spoiler Roundup - March 1

Hey folks, better late than never I say. Sorry for the late report, all of my time was concentrated on recovering from the server outage this past weekend. Here’s a few of the spoilers I picked up along the way (I’ll be back this afternoon sometime to add more):

KRISTIN @ E!ONLINE

When the season resumes in April Peter will have the legendary scar that future Hiro spoke of back in Chapter 5 - the result, his struggle with Sylar in this coming Monday’s episode Chapter Eighteen “Parasite”. Peter will also ditch the bangs (I never really saw the problem with em anyways, thought they added to his character) - in fact, he’ll be ditching hair altogether - BALD!

I just went to the Heroes set and…Oh. My. Gore. I can show you just about…oh, let’s see…nothing from my visit for the time being, because it’s such a huge, secret episode, and I’m under strict orders from NBC. Let’s just say there was a bloody, gory, end-of-the-world battle going on, with lots of blood and bumps and bruises (perhaps life-threatening) for some of our Heroic faves, so I can’t show you any of the gruesome footage until closer to the episode’s airdate (sometime in April or May). But, ohhh, how I can’t wait to show you! It’s gonna be insane! Bloody insane!

Peter is getting stronger! When asked about his “own personal Yoda” (the Invisible Man, Christopher Eccleston), Milo tells me: “Okay, we’ll talk in Star Wars. [Peter’s] going from a New Hope to Empire Strikes Back, where he is a little bit of a Jedi, he can use his abilities, but he can’t use them entirely. Not to their full pinnacle. Not yet. But he will.” Watch your back, Sylar!

PREVIEWS FOR CHAPTER EIGHTEEN “PARASITE”

Access Hollywood has this weeks clips for Heroes including a peak at the followup between Isaac, Peter, and Simone getting shot; HRG talking to Thompson and not remembering any of the events at his house that unfolded last week; Sylar and Mohinder getting all buddy buddy - Sylar offers to go find Isaac (we know where this could end up) because Mo is tired from the drive back; Hiro and Nathan (the one posted below); Nathan and the FBI who want him to wear a wire when he goes to meet Linderman; and Claire and the Haitian at the airport.  EDIT: The clips have been captured and put on YouTube.

ASK AUSIELLO @ TV GUIDE

Ausiello hints at more details about episode 20, which according to an interview with Jack Coleman (HRG) will take place five years in the future.

On the scoop front, AAdict Damon wrote in to tell me that Jack Coleman, during an interview with an L.A. radio station on Monday, revealed that Episode 20 will be set five years into the future. What he didn’t say is that (Spoiler alert) Hiro and Ando would be the ones making the trek.
